Its nominal 9Ah capacity makes it a possible replacement for a 12V 9Ah battery. Before buying, compare voltage, technology, dimensions, total height, terminals and polarity; capacity alone does not establish compatibility.
To replace a 12V 9Ah battery in a UPS, alarm or emergency device, check the old battery label and connections before ordering.
In most cases, a 12V 9Ah AGM battery can be used as a compatible replacement provided that the main parameters match:
9Ah is the nominal capacity, not a promise of a particular runtime. Actual backup time depends on load and operating conditions.
AGM VRLA batteries continue to be one of the most widely used solutions in auxiliary power and backup systems thanks to their stability, safety and low maintenance requirements.
In practice, this means:
AGM technology uses fiberglass separators that absorb the electrolyte, creating a sealed, stable battery suitable for security, emergency and backup applications.
Can be used as a compatible replacement in many devices originally equipped with 12V 9Ah batteries.
Nominal capacity is 9Ah; a particular runtime cannot be guaranteed.
Maintenance-free sealed battery suitable for backup power systems.
Widely used in UPS systems, alarms, emergency lighting, telecommunications and electronic equipment.
Allows the battery to retain charge during storage or standby periods.
Standard format commonly used in replacement and maintenance applications.
Before buying, compare these details with the original battery and the UPS, alarm or equipment manual:
| Voltage and technology | 12V and AGM/VRLA technology. |
| Capacity | Nominal 9Ah. Also check size, technology and connections. |
| Published dimensions | 151 × 65 × 94 mm. Check the available space and total height including terminals. |
| Connections | Check terminal type and width, positive-terminal position and cable length. The exact terminal width has not been confirmed for this listing. |
| Intended use | Compatible standby or backup use. For demanding cyclic use or critical equipment, consult the equipment and battery specifications. |
If any of these details differ, do not install it as a direct replacement. Compare formats in our 12V AGM lead-acid batteries and UPS replacement batteries.
