SUPERIOR LIFESPAN: The number of charge-discharge cycles is much higher compared to traditional lead-acid batteries. They can also undergo complete charge cycles, which significantly increases their autonomy.

WEIGHT: They are up to 70% lighter compared to traditional batteries.

FAST CHARGING: They have a higher absorption capacity, allowing for high-power chargers that can complete charge cycles in as little as 1 hour when required. These batteries can be charged with conventional chargers, the same as those used for AGM or GEL batteries.

One important feature is that these batteries can be connected in series up to two times (to increase voltage). Therefore, they are ideal for installations requiring up to 48V. For installations operating at higher voltages, you should purchase a battery of this technology that already provides the desired voltage. As for parallel connection to increase autonomy/capacity, there is no problem, and up to four units can be connected. Remember that in both cases, all batteries must be the same model and age. New batteries cannot be used in the same installation as used batteries that have significantly exceeded their useful life.

Cylindrical vs. Prismatic LiFePO4 Cells

Lithium batteries are available on the market in two forms: cylindrical or prismatic cells.

• Batteries made with cylindrical cells generate less heat than prismatic ones. Due to their configuration, they facilitate better cooling, resulting in a significantly longer lifespan for these batteries.
• 25.6V monoblock batteries manufactured with prismatic cells use only 8 cells in series to provide the desired voltage. Therefore, the poor performance of even one cell has a greater impact than batteries manufactured with cylindrical cells, which typically use hundreds of cells.
• Cylindrical cells provide higher power (kWh), making them ideal for applications such as starting vehicles or directly powering motors, water pumps, etc.
