The 80Ah model suits installations that need longer runtime than compact batteries but still operate on a 12V platform. Check height, terminal access and ventilation space in camper, boat or equipment compartments before ordering.
A similar case size or nominal voltage does not by itself guarantee a direct replacement. Confirm the terminal layout, available space, charger profile, alternator or DC-DC charger, solar controller and the continuous and peak current required by the connected equipment. Use a charging profile approved for the exact LiFePO4 model; do not assume that every AGM or GEL charger is suitable.
Estimate daily consumption by multiplying each appliance power in watts by its operating time in hours. Add the results, allow for inverter and system losses, and retain an operating reserve. For a system using 500Wh per day, 1.024kWh nominal provides useful headroom, but the final result depends on reserve, inverter efficiency, temperature and available solar or alternator charging.
