A good-value battery
Batteries at a better price than in high street shops
Unbeatable prices, but there’s room for improvement when it comes to delivery
The truth is, I found this shop offering some of the best prices on the EXIDE battery I needed – the one with the ‘+’ on the left, which is a bit harder to come by.<br /> I don’t think it’s the shop’s fault, but the delivery was delayed longer than expected because the weekend fell in the middle, and it still didn’t arrive until midday on Monday. <br /> If you pay €10 for 24-hour express delivery, they need to deliver on that promise, and PAACK didn’t. <br /> They do reply and send you the invoice if you ask for it. Now it’s just a case of hoping it lasts a long time. I’ve never tried EXIDE before, but they say it’s a reliable and good brand. I certainly hope so.
