    Choose the right replacement for your car

    Before fitting the VARTA N65, check the 232 × 173 × 225 mm space, positive terminal position, connections and hold-down as well as the 65Ah capacity and 650A starting current. The same car model may require different batteries depending on engine, year and equipment. Fuel type or engine displacement alone does not establish compatibility.

    How do I check polarity?

    Positive terminal on the right. Check the terminal positions on the actual battery and their orientation in the vehicle; do not rotate the battery to compensate for cables that do not reach.

    Everything’s fine. Well packaged, delivered on time, and the product works properly. If I had to find a fault, it was running at 12.47V, which is a bit low, and the battery was manufactured in March 2025 – about 7 months ago – but that’s acceptable, and I’m sure garages often fit older batteries without anyone checking. <br /> <br /> If anyone’s curious to find out the date of a Varta battery, this website explains how: https://akbset.com/varta_battery_manufacture_date

To be honest, I don’t know where you’ve got that information from.<br /> <br /> It does have an internal traceability system for quality control purposes.<br /> <br /> However, I can confirm that, as an official distributor, we receive batteries directly from the factory, and I can assure you that, given our sales volume, if we were to hold stock for 7 months, we’d need a football stadium-sized warehouse.<br /> <br /> All stock items are rotated within a maximum of 15–20 days in the worst-case scenario.
