Broken case and exposed battery

The battery works fine, but it arrived unsealed, and the delivery company kept me at home all day but didn’t turn up until the following day. They claimed it was due to an incorrect address, but I checked and the address was correct.

Choose the right replacement for your car

Before fitting the VARTA N65, check the 232 × 173 × 225 mm space, positive terminal position, connections and hold-down as well as the 65Ah capacity and 650A starting current. The same car model may require different batteries depending on engine, year and equipment. Fuel type or engine displacement alone does not establish compatibility.

Capacity and starting current are different ratings

The 65Ah rating is nominal capacity; 650A describes cold cranking current. When comparing 65Ah car batteries, check technology and dimensions too: similar or higher capacity does not automatically make a battery suitable.

Replacement, charging and maintenance

Vehicles with a battery management system may require battery registration or adaptation using diagnostic equipment after replacement. Use a charger suitable for the battery voltage and technology and follow the battery and vehicle instructions. Consult a qualified professional if the installation or configuration is uncertain.
