The Victron AGM Deep Cycle 12V 240Ah (BAT412124081) is a sealed flat-plate VRLA battery designed to deliver sustained energy in off-grid solar systems, backup power, marine installations, campers, motorhomes and auxiliary services. AGM technology holds the electrolyte in glass-fibre separators and requires no routine water topping-up.
It provides 240Ah at C20 and 25°C, copper M8 terminals and a construction intended for cyclic and float operation. Before ordering, check voltage, available space, weight, polarity, charging current and compatibility with the charger or inverter.

Is the 240Ah rating measured at C20? Yes. Victron states the nominal capacity at the 20-hour discharge rate and 25°C.
Can it be fitted as a direct replacement? Only when voltage, dimensions, M8 terminals, polarity, capacity and charging profile all match. Its 67kg weight also means the battery compartment and ventilation must be checked.
