A feature to keep in mind is that these batteries can be connected up to 4 batteries in series (to increase voltage). So they are ideal for installations that require up to 48V. For installations that work with higher voltage, you must purchase a battery of this technology that already provides the desired voltage directly. As for the parallel connection to increase autonomy / capacity, there is no problem and up to 20 units can be mounted. Do not forget that in both cases all batteries must be the same model and with the same age, not being able to have new batteries in the same installation with others already used that have already expired a large part of their useful life.

In the market you can find lithium batteries manufactured in 2 ways, either with cylindrical or prismatic cells.

• Batteries made with cylindrical cells get less hot than prismatic cells. By its own configuration it helps to better cooling, so the useful life of these batteries is considerably longer.
• 12.8v monoblock batteries manufactured with prismatic cells are made using only 4 cells in series to provide the desired voltage, so the low performance of one of them affects a greater proportion than those manufactured with cylindrical cells that hundreds of them are used in most cases.
• The cylindrical cells provide a higher power (KW / h) making it ideal for applications such as vehicle starting or directly feeding motors, water pumps, etc ...
