    The battery they sent me was manufactured a year ago… and the terminals are stripped… as if it had been used.

It’s made in China, shipped to Europe by boat, stored, and only then is the battery actually manufactured.<br /> <br /> Honestly, there’s loads of really useful stuff on the internet, but there’s also so much bad or harmful information.

    Problematic warranty return

    Less than a year ago, I bought a battery via the website’s search function, filtering by make, model, year of manufacture, etc. – a Varta battery from the Blue Series. Right from the start, I noticed it lacked power when starting the car. I don’t use this car very often, as I have other vehicles that I use more regularly. After several months, as the battery was showing increasing signs of weakness – and before the twelve-month mark had passed – I decided to make a claim under the warranty. From that point on, it’s been nothing but problems with Bateriasonline. I bought another, more powerful Varta battery from them – a Silver Series one – so as not to be left with a flat battery in the car, and they collected the used one – which was less than a year old. So far, the customer service and response from Bateriasonline have been appalling; I’ve had to ring them on several occasions, only for them to hang up on me or fail to reply to my emails. In short, in less than a year I’ve bought two Varta batteries and I only have one fitted in the car – let’s hope this one doesn’t cause any problems – whilst I’ve neither the other battery nor my money back, and so far it’s all been nothing but delays.
