Yuasa specifies 12Ah at C10 and 12.6Ah at C20 for the same YTX14-BS. These capacities are measured at different discharge rates: the 12Ah specification and the 12.6Ah product name do not describe different models. Compare capacities measured at the same rate.

Before buying your Yuasa YTX14-BS battery

Check the 12V rating, 150 × 87 × 145 mm dimensions, positive terminal position and terminal type against the installed battery or motorcycle manual. ETX14-BS can be a useful search reference, but does not mean all brands have identical dimensions or performance.

Does it need maintenance?

Once activated and sealed according to the manufacturer instructions, this AGM battery does not need water topping up. It still needs to remain charged: for extended storage, use a charger compatible with AGM and this capacity.
