The Victron Orion 12/24-10A (ORI122410020) is a non-isolated DC-DC converter that steps a nominal 12V supply up to an adjustable output for 24V systems. It can power 24V equipment or buffer-charge a 24V auxiliary battery from a 12V source where both systems share a common negative.
Output is adjustable from 20 to 30V by potentiometer and factory-set to 26.4V. It supplies 10A continuously and up to 20A maximum; as many as five units can be connected in parallel for additional current. There is no Bluetooth, VE.Direct or galvanic isolation.

Confirm that both systems share a negative, input remains within 9–18V and the load or battery accepts the selected voltage. As a non-isolated unit, it cannot replace a converter requiring galvanic separation. Browse our DC-DC converters, batteries, chargers and power supplies and the full Victron Energy range.
Can it be used for buffer charging? Yes, when its adjustable output is set correctly for the battery.
Does it have remote on/off? No. This part number has no remote on/off terminal.
