EAN/GTIN:
Connecting a Pylontech battery bank to an inverter-charger involves more than choosing the right battery: you also need the power cables and must check how communication with the equipment will work. This kit combines two 2-metre, 25 mm² power cables, with Amphenol connectors for the battery connection, and one 3.5-metre RJ45 BMS communication cable.
It is an option for new solar storage installations or for replacing a cable set when a 2-metre cable run is needed between the battery bank and the intended connection point. Before ordering, check your battery reference, the inverter or busbar terminals, the actual cable route and the inverter manufacturer's communication requirements.
The RJ45 cable is included as part of the kit, but this does not mean it is suitable for every inverter or control device. Communication compatibility depends on the inverter model, the port used and the wiring required by each manufacturer.
The supplier lists this set for Pylontech US2000, US2000C, US3000C and US5000 batteries. In our catalogue you can consult the product pages for the Pylontech US2000C, Pylontech US3000C and Pylontech US5000.
If you use another battery version, do not assume compatibility simply because the name or connector looks similar: check the exact reference and your installation documentation before buying.
This type of kit is used in systems connecting low-voltage Pylontech batteries to a solar inverter-charger. It can form part of a self-consumption installation with storage, a backup system or an off-grid installation, provided that the electrical design and communication between the equipment are compatible.
The two power cables provide the intended electrical connection for the battery bank. The RJ45 cable belongs to the communication circuit: it does not replace the power cables and must not be confused with a universal network cable suitable for any inverter.
Important for Victron installations: to connect certain Pylontech batteries to a GX device, Victron specifies a type A or B VE.Can to CAN-bus BMS cable, depending on the battery model. Victron states that the communication cable supplied with Pylontech must not be used for that particular connection. If your installation uses Victron equipment, identify the required cable before deciding which accessories you need.
When buying cables for a solar battery, length and cross-section are not the only relevant details. The connectors at both ends and communication between the BMS and inverter also matter. This product page therefore clearly separates the power connection from RJ45 communication: you can check each element separately and choose only what your installation needs.
If you are preparing a complete system, also consult our solar lithium batteries and the Pylontech range to identify the right battery and accessories.
The kit includes two power cables, each 2 metres long with a 25 mm² cross-section, plus a 3.5-metre RJ45 BMS cable.
The US5000 is among the models listed by the supplier. Nevertheless, check the inverter-side or busbar connection end and the communication cable required by the equipment in your installation.
Do not assume so. Inverters may require communication cables with specific wiring. Consult the inverter manual and its Pylontech compatibility documentation.
The supplier presents it for connecting the battery bank to the solar inverter-charger. If you need cables to interconnect modules, first check the accessories required for that particular configuration.
The DC power connection and communication configuration must follow the electrical design and the manufacturers' instructions. The supplier recommends having battery connections carried out by a qualified professional.
