Varta CR2025 3 V Coin Cell Battery | 1 unit

Varta Lithium Coin

Varta CR2025 3 V is a non-rechargeable lithium battery for replacing the same battery type in compatible devices.

Technical specifications

Capacity is per battery; it is not added together according to the number of batteries in the pack.

Which devices is it suitable for?

For small devices specifying this exact format, such as remote controls, electronic keys, scales and household electronics. Compatibility depends on the battery type required, not simply on the device brand.

How to choose the correct replacement

CR2032, CR2025 and CR2016 share a 20 mm diameter, but their thicknesses are 3.2, 2.5 and 1.6 mm respectively. Select the code required by your device; they are not automatically interchangeable.

Before buying, compare the battery code, voltage, dimensions and contacts with the device manual. A similar size does not guarantee compatibility.

Do not interchange CR cells with rechargeable LIR cells or other chemistries unless authorised by the device manufacturer.

Cross references and equivalents

These references identify batteries of the same format and voltage. Capacity and runtime may differ between manufacturers. Check the battery code required by your device, dimensions, polarity and contacts; the supplied product is Varta. Adapters, cables and special terminals are not included.

Frequently asked questions

Can it be recharged?

No. This is a single-use primary battery. Do not place it in a charger or replace it with a higher-voltage rechargeable cell.

How long does it last?

Runtime depends on device consumption, temperature and frequency of use. Nominal capacity does not guarantee a fixed runtime in every device.

How many batteries are supplied?

1 unit. Capacity is per battery; it is not added together according to the number of batteries in the pack.

Use and storage

Observe the polarity in the battery compartment. Do not recharge, open, heat or short-circuit the battery. Keep new and used batteries away from children and animals and take them to an authorised collection point.
