Victron Cyrix-i 12/24V 400A Intelligent Battery Combiner

Cyrix battery combiners are a good alternative to diode isolators. The main advantage is that there is almost no voltage loss, so it is not necessary to raise the output voltage of alternators or battery chargers.

The Cyrix-i 12/24V 400A smart battery combiner is a microprocessor controlled relay that connects batteries in parallel when one of them reaches a preset voltage and disconnects them when the voltage drops below of the float level.

The Cyrix-i 12/24V 400A does more than simply connect and disconnect as it senses the battery voltage and according to a predetermined time delay: by examining the general trend of the voltage (decrease or rise) reverses to a previous stock only if the trend reversed during a specified period.

The Cyrix-i 12/24V 400A smart battery combiner automatically detects system voltage (universal 12V and 24V input) and includes overheat protection, connection paralleling in case of emergency (Start Assist), bidirectional voltage sensing and bidirectional power supply from both batteries, as well as long bolts that allow the connection of more than one power cable.

In addition, it allows you to choose between four different switching programs.
