The Victron Smart IP43 36/15 (1), part number PSC361550095, is an intelligent 36V 15A battery charger with one battery output. It is designed for charging and maintaining 36V battery banks in marine, e-mobility, leisure, off-grid, industrial and backup power systems.
Compatible battery technologies
Supports the following rechargeable battery technologies, provided that the bank voltage matches the charger output and the battery capacity and permitted charging current are respected.

Select Normal, High or Li-ion using the controls available on this model or VictronConnect. AGM and gel are not universal programmes: the final settings must match the battery datasheet.
Not intended for non-rechargeable cells, NiMH or Ni-Cd batteries. Chemical compatibility does not mean that every capacity or voltage is suitable. For LiFePO4, also observe charging temperature limits and BMS protections.
Its adaptive six-stage charging algorithm manages the charging process efficiently, while built-in Bluetooth and VictronConnect provide straightforward configuration, monitoring, history and alarm settings from a phone, tablet or computer.

Intelligent charging for 36V batteries
The charger automatically controls the charging stages to restore the battery, complete absorption and maintain it without continuous overcharging. Preset modes cover conventional lead-acid, high-voltage absorption and lithium batteries. Custom charge settings can also be configured in VictronConnect in accordance with the battery manufacturer's requirements.
In the 36/15 (1) designation, “(1)” means that this model has one battery connection. It should not be confused with the 1+1 or three-output Smart IP43 variants available at other voltages.
Bluetooth, VE.Direct and system monitoring
VictronConnect displays charge status, voltage, current and operating history. VE.Direct enables connection to a GX device so system information can be centralised and, where Internet connectivity is available, monitored remotely through the Victron ecosystem.
VE.Smart Networking can use compatible external voltage and temperature measurements, helping the charger compensate for cable losses and respond to actual battery conditions.
