Where this battery fits
The WP18-12SHR combines an 18Ah C20 capacity with high discharge performance for compatible UPS, emergency power, security, telecommunications and machinery-control backup. Its cranking figures describe discharge capability but do not by themselves make it a starter battery for every vehicle or engine.
Compatibility and replacement check
Use the exact WP18-12SHR reference when possible. Check the 181 × 76 × 167mm case, M5 terminal hardware, polarity, cable lugs and discharge requirement. Do not replace it solely because another battery is labelled 12V 18Ah or uses the same case.
Charging and installation
Use a charger intended for sealed lead-acid AGM batteries and keep charge voltage within the manufacturer limits. Provide correctly rated wiring and overcurrent protection, prevent short circuits, secure the battery against movement and never combine batteries of different age, model or state of charge in one bank.

A satisfactory purchase
I’ve bought two batteries for my mother-in-law’s motorbike.<br /> This is the shop where they were cheapest.<br /> I placed the order on a Thursday evening. On Friday, I received emails confirming the order, tracking details, etc. Nothing happened over the weekend. On Monday, I received an email from the courier, and on Tuesday the batteries arrived. It wasn’t 24 or 48 hours, but I wasn’t in a hurry and I’m satisfied.<br /> The batteries were manufactured in March 2025. I received them on 1 July 2025. Their voltage was 12.5V. They come with new screws to connect the terminals.
