Lead-Acid AGM Battery 12V 1.2Ah

INNPO 12V 1.2Ah AGM VRLA battery for compatible equipment

The INNPO 12V 1.2Ah AGM VRLA battery (reference INP12-1.2Ah) is a sealed lead-acid unit that requires no water top-up. It can be used in equipment designed for 12V AGM batteries, including certain backup, security and emergency-lighting systems. Explore other INNPO batteries.

Its nominal capacity is 1.2Ah, and its published dimensions are 96.5 × 45 × 53 mm. Before ordering, compare the original battery, available space, terminals, polarity and charging system.

How do I check whether it fits my 12V equipment?

The same 12V rating alone does not guarantee compatibility. Check the original label and equipment manual against:

• 12V nominal voltage and sealed AGM/VRLA lead-acid technology.
• 1.2Ah nominal capacity accepted by the equipment.
• 96.5 × 45 × 53 mm dimensions and 58 mm overall height with terminals.
• Check the original battery’s terminal position and type, as well as cable length.
• A charging circuit or charger suitable for 12V AGM.

Do not install it as a direct replacement if an essential requirement differs. Actual runtime depends on the load and discharge conditions.

Why choose a sealed AGM battery for backup equipment?

AGM VRLA batteries keep the electrolyte absorbed in glass-fibre separators and do not need water top-ups. They are useful in backup and safety equipment designed for sealed lead-acid batteries.

• Compact 12V format where the dimensions fit.
• Sealed, low-maintenance construction.
• 1.2Ah nominal capacity for compatible 12V equipment.
• Use in backup or intermittent-duty devices approved by the equipment maker.

Practical benefits of the INP12-1.2Ah

1.2Ah nominal capacity

Choose the capacity specified for the equipment without assuming a fixed runtime.

Sealed AGM VRLA technology

No water top-up is required, but a compatible charging system is essential.

Compact size and precise reference

Measures 96.5 × 45 × 53 mm (58 mm with terminals). Confirm it fits and the connections match.

Exact INP12-1.2Ah reference

Use the reference to compare labels and avoid confusing this unit with other 12V capacities.

Typical applications

• Security and alarm systems designed for a compatible 12V 1.2Ah AGM battery.
• Emergency lighting specified for this battery format.
• Small backup or UPS systems using compatible 12V modules.
• Other 12V equipment where the device manufacturer specifies this type.

It cannot replace a 6V battery or a different chemistry without technical validation.

How to check compatibility before buying

Compare the removed battery and equipment manual with the details below. Ask before installation if an essential value differs.

To compare alternatives, see our 12V lead-acid batteries and 12V battery chargers. Check that the charger is suitable for a 1.2Ah AGM battery.

Storage recommendations

Store in a dry, ventilated place away from prolonged extreme temperatures. Do not leave it discharged for long periods; follow the equipment maker’s maintenance-charging instructions.

How to support battery service life

• Use a charger or charging circuit suitable for 12V AGM.
• Avoid repeated deep discharges and overcharging.
• Check the condition of connections regularly.
• Follow the operating temperature range of the equipment.

Handling and safety

• Do not short-circuit, hit, puncture or open the battery.
• Observe polarity and use suitable terminals.
• Do not mix new and used modules or different capacities without equipment-maker approval.
• Install and charge according to the device manual.

Charging and maintenance

Use a charger suitable for 12V AGM batteries and with an appropriate charging current for 1.2Ah. A 6V charger is not suitable; follow the battery label and equipment manufacturer’s parameters.

How temperature affects performance

Temperature and discharge rate affect available capacity and lifetime. Cold can temporarily reduce runtime; sustained heat accelerates ageing. Avoid prolonged extreme conditions.

Technical specifications

Questions before buying

Will it fit any 12V device?

No. Technology, accepted capacity, dimensions, terminals, polarity and charging must match.

Can it replace a lower-capacity battery?

Only if the equipment manufacturer accepts 1.2Ah and the size, connections and charging parameters match. Voltage alone is not enough.

Can it be used in alarms, emergency lights or UPS systems?

Yes, when the device specifies a compatible 12V 1.2Ah AGM battery of this format. Check the original unit.

Does it need maintenance?

It is sealed AGM VRLA and needs no water top-up. Correct charging and system checks are still required.
