For 12 V and 24 V DC applications, Victron's MagCode Power technology is an innovative magnetic connector system.

Magnets are in the power port (plug) and power clip (plug), and inside the port is a movable plate that, when "attracted" to the clip, allows electricity to flow.

This system is individually coded, which makes it short-circuit proof and prevents any decoupling between 12 and 24 V.

The port is disabled once the clip is removed, so even if a metal object shorts the contacts, nothing will happen. The Victron MagCode Power System is therefore fully short-circuit proof.
