Victron Argofet 200-2 for 2 Batteries 200A Battery Isolator

The Victron Argofet 200-2 Battery Isolator for 2 200A Batteries is a battery isolator that allows 2 200A batteries to be charged at the same time from a single battery charger or alternator without need to connect the batteries together. For example, if an auxiliary battery is discharged this will not cause the starter battery to be discharged as well.

Compared to diode battery isolators (Argodiode), FET isolators produce nearly zero voltage drop: at low current, the voltage drop is approximately 0.02V and at nominal output, estimated to be 0.1V.

Please note that when installing a FET battery isolator, you should seek professional assistance. Simply putting the isolator between the alternator and the batteries can marginally reduce the charging voltage. As a result, the batteries may not be fully charged and their life cycle may be shortened as a result.
