Victron Argodiode BCD 802 - 2 Batteries of 80A Diode Battery Combiner
Diode Battery Combiners are employed to ensure that mission-critical equipment, such as an electronic engine control system, receives continuous DC power.
Two or more DC power sources can be used in parallel to supply the mission critical load using a diode battery combiner.
Power to the critical load will not be disrupted if one of the sources fails.
The Victron Argodiode BCD 802 - 2 Batteries of 40A Battery Combiner have a low voltage drop due to the use of Schottky diodes: at low current, the voltage loss is roughly 0.3 V, and at rated output, the voltage drop is approximately 0.45 V.
Caution: heated surface; only use the Argo Diode Battery Combiner on non-flammable surfaces.
