The Victron 120/240V - 100A toroidal autotransformer has an input/output voltage of 120V or /240V and a circuit breaker input 100A, bipolar. It is used to balance rising, falling and split phase outputs. It has a ground relay for use with Multi or Quattro inverter chargers.

To ensure proper operation of the GFCI when operating in inverter mode, the neutral output of the inverter/charger must be grounded. The neutral must also be earthed if a split phase supply is needed. This is why a ground relay is included in the Victron 120/240V - 100A Autotransformer. The 230/240V Multi or Quattro controls the relay, so always turn off the internal grounding relay on the 230/240V Multi or Quattro.

The Victron 120/240V - 100A Autotransformer with a 240V inverter can also be used as an alternative to stacking two 120V inverters to provide a 120/240V split phase supply.

In case of overheating, the Victron 120/240V - 100A Autotransformer is disconnected from the network, requiring a manual reset to reconnect it.
