    The VARTA G14 12V 95Ah 850A car battery has a clearly identified part number to help you choose the correct replacement. It uses AGM technology and measures 353 × 175 × 190 mm (length × width × height). Compare these details with the installed battery and the vehicle manufacturer's requirements before ordering.

    AGM technology uses absorbed electrolyte and is intended for compatible vehicles requiring AGM, including Start-Stop systems and demanding electrical equipment. Retain AGM when the vehicle requires it; matching dimensions do not justify fitting a conventional or EFB battery.

    Varta AGM G14 Car Starter Battery

    The Varta A5 Batterybelongs to the Dynamic AGM range, has a capacity of 95Ah with a starting power of 850A. Its measurements are: 353x175x190 mm. It is a starter battery and is used in vehicles with advanced START-STOP systems with recharging with a regenerative braking system. You can replace the EFB N70 start-stop battery, providing better performance.

    Important note: The Varta AGM G14 battery has been replaced by the manufacturer by the Varta AGM A5 battery.

    Choose the right replacement for your car

    Before fitting the VARTA G14, check the 353 × 175 × 190 mm space, positive terminal position, connections and hold-down as well as the 95Ah capacity and 850A starting current. The same car model may require different batteries depending on engine, year and equipment. Fuel type or engine displacement alone does not establish compatibility.

    Capacity and starting current are different ratings

    The 95Ah rating is nominal capacity; 850A describes cold cranking current. When comparing 95Ah car batteries, check technology and dimensions too: similar or higher capacity does not automatically make a battery suitable.

    Are matching dimensions enough?

    No. Required technology, voltage, polarity, terminals and mounting must also match, with suitable electrical ratings. Do not downgrade an AGM or EFB technology required by the vehicle.

    How do I check polarity?

    Positive terminal on the right. Check the terminal positions on the actual battery and their orientation in the vehicle; do not rotate the battery to compensate for cables that do not reach.
