Correct your Roomba battery conservation tips:

With proper care, the Roomba's battery can last many cycles of cleaning before having to be replaced. We then suggest you some things you can do to extend the life of the Roomba's battery and keep the Roomba cleaning at peak performance:

• Use your Roomba often. Roomba works with a rechargeable battery, which will provide more cleaning cycles when you use it regularly.

• Let the Roomba connected when not in use. If you have a Home Base, let Roomba charging there. If you don't have a Home Base, let your Roomba connected to the power supply.

• Place your Roomba and the Home Base on a hard, smooth surface when it is charging. Do not load the Roomba on a thick carpet and make sure that Roomba and the Home Base will have enough space for ventilation.

• Load and store the Roomba in a dry and cool place. Let Roomba away from direct sunlight and heat sources such as windows, radiators, heating mouths and large artifacts.

• Keep the Roomba's brushes clean. If the Roomba's brushes become clogged with hair or other dirt, Roomba will endeavor to turn them, using more battery power than normal. 

• Battery drain from time to time. Once once in a while, must fully discharge the battery follows:

1. Run the Roomba until you play song "dead battery" of 4 tones indicating that the battery has been completely downloaded. 

   • If you use a Home Base, unplug so the Roomba does not attempt to mate when the battery is low.

   • If you have a "DOCK" button, use it to completely discharge the battery.  

   • If you don't have a "DOCK" button, it is likely you will need several cycles "CLEAN" to discharge the battery.  

2. Be sure to recharge your Roomba as quickly as possible once the battery is discharged completely.

Remove the battery if you are saving the Roomba for a long time. If you are not using the Roomba for a few weeks, store in a dry and cool place. Blue and black batteries should be stored once the Roomba has been used. Yellow batteries should be stored once they are fully charged. When you want to use the Roomba again, insert the battery and charge it fully. Batteries can degrade naturally even when stored outside the Roomba. Charge your battery completely at least once every six months for optimum performance.
